My First Class

I taught my first few students how to knit on President's Day. I had one mom call and ask me to come over and get her and her two daughters going. They were ready to get started with some of my scrap yarn in hand. Casting on the first row was probably the hardest thing to teach. In about an hour's time they were knitting and purling up a storm!! I called this week to ask how it was going. The exciting news is that the girls had gone to the store and bought fun chunky yarn, and one was almost done with her first scarf!!! Yeah, you go girl! She keeps asking how to finish it, now. If you'd like to learn, give me a call. Let's knit!

Oh, I wish you still worked with us and we could have knitting group!!! I showed Val a pic of baby Jared the other day & she didn't even know who he was :) Michelle knew right off, but we could NOT believe how big he is. Looks like he is getting ready to go to college.
hey girl! IT's Angela! I MISS YOU!!!! I never talk to you anymore! You need to call me. Also, what is this class you are teaching? I'm lost!
Okay, I made my own blog page... come see me too! ~Angela

That was my little ambitious kids!! We have had fun with it, however, i tried to pick it back up where I left off and forgot how to do it. It is not like riding a bike. You do forget if you do not practice. Thank you! We had fun.
