Fancy That!

The Clash of the Choirs Tuesday night was a shocker! I was so disappointed to see Kelly Rowland's group dismissed. They should have allowed them to perform while elminating the possiblity of them winning the charity monies. All that work they'd put into rehearsal went down the drain. What a downer for the members too. Kelly was tearful some of the night too. Bummer.

Micheal Bolton's group did alot better with their song choice too. I'm not sure why he used the same male soloist again, but maybe he is the best choice out of the male voices. Who knows. I'll bet he was feeling the pressure when he lost his voice that morning. Tea w/ honey, Honey. That's the secret.

Blake Shelton had the crowd rockin' too. He is such a personality with all the creative jokes coming with each comment to the mic.

Patti LaBelle raised an eyebrow or two when she told Lachey that his choir was blessed by God. He had a bit of a blank look on his face. If you ever watched the Newlywed's show w/ him and Jessica, he would never talk about God or going to church. That's not something he's used to at all. Maybe this is God's way of getting Nick's attention for a change. Patti is allowing herself to be used to speak into some lives the love of Christ they may not have ever heard before. People need the Lord, and they don't even know it. How many times has live TV edited out the words God wants to speak in Primetime. Oh, you can find some TV preaching and Christian music on BET on Sunday morning. M-F is a different story.

Patti's choir continues to wow us. She is featuring different soloist women each night. Are they in a local church choir? Where did she get those girls? It's touching to see how very heartfelt they express the lyrics. Bravo!

NBC is narrowing the song choice tonight with Christmas being the theme. Let's sing about baby Jesus!!!
